Appearance: A'ra is tall, a little over six feet, with a thin, long-limbed build. His skin is a deep tan, and his eyes are a dark, cobalt blue. His hair is dark mahogany brown in color, and is kept short, around his ears. It is neat, but fluffy.
Personality: Quiet and good-natured for the most part, A'ra does, however, have a biting sense of humor and a tendency towards cynicism and sarcasm. He is extremely loyal and very trusting, at least of those who he feels have earned it. He has a drive to succeed and is very protective of his Dragonry.
Past: A'ra was raised in a Weyr on the Old World, where he Impressed Bronze Mazdath and met Teah. They became weyrmates after Eoth rose for the first time and Mazdath caught her, though the flight was young and short and didn't produce any eggs. They quickly became closer, and by the next time Eoth was ready to rise, the Weyr was becoming overcrowded. Teah was selected to lead a new Weyr, and the rider of the bronze who caught her would be the new Weyrleader. A'ra didn't know this until after Mazdath had caught Eoth, however, and he was less than thrilled about inheriting Weyrleadership at such a young age, though he reluctantly accepted.
This was, of course, before the entire Weyr was brought off of the Old World and into an area between dimensions. Since then, however, the job and the Dragonry has grown on him, and he's become very protective of his home.
