Belindy is an active, outgoing child. She doesn't like to sit still. Books?
Boring and useless; she'd much rather be playing outdoors. Despite her friendly
nature, she has trouble making and keeping friends. She has a short temper and
her manners are far from the best--she tends to be rude in situations that
really do not need it. Belindy can be kind of lazy as well--it's not exactly
that she'd prefer to sit around and do nothing, but she loses all enthusiasm
when something becomes work rather than play.
Past: Belindy was the third
child born to a farmcrafter and his wife. Problem is, there was always a
suspicion that her mother was having an affair at the time, and the early years
of Belindy's life were strained, to say the least. Her mother and stepfather
separated when she was five; Belindy stayed with her mother while her other
siblings left; she never did learn who her real father was.
As she got
older, she began to think about what craft she wanted to apprentice to, but she
was always undecided. The way she saw it, she didn't really have any particular
skills to hone, and she couldn't decide what to do with her life. Fortunately
for her, searchriders from Aneris Weyr came when she was fifteen and gave her a
purpose. She agreed to stand for a dragon's clutch, and picked up two fire
lizards while she was there.

Personality:
Niamith has something like what you might call ADHD. She is very energetic and
quite loud, in fact she always seems to be shouting when she talks, as she is
easily excited. She's very friendly and loves to make new friends, and
she's actually a very sweet dragon. While she talks a lot, she also has a short
attention span, and sometimes trails off in the middle of a long-winded
conversation only to start up a new topic. She likes rain and warm weather, but
she despises going out in the cold.
