Personality: For the daughter of a Lord Holder, Celenny is not very good with people. She's very shy and gets nervous around people if she's not familiar with them. It takes her a while to warm up to people, and thus, she doesn't have many friends. She wants to be independant though, and given enough time and encouragement, she will stand up for herself, though she also tries to be loyal to friends and family, willing to put their needs before her own, most of the time.
Past: Celenny is the oldest daughter of the Lord of a Hold, though she has two older brothers, one of whom is expected to take over her father's position one day. Her younger twin sisters were much closer to her than her brothers, even as children, and they got along well as they got older. Celenny's parents planned for her to marry a local, but she had different plans; she wanted to join the Weaver craft and become an apprentice. Her parents were not pleased, and refused to send her.

It took six years for her to gather the courage to leave on her own, only becoming an apprentice at seventeen. She rarely speaks to her family now, except for Ceranna and Cerelin. When she heard her sisters had both been searched, she was pleased for them and eagerly attended the Hatching where they stood. It was just after she arrived at the Weyr that one of the searchriders said she was a suitable candidate as well. It was her sisters who got her to agree to be a candidate, just this once, and she was shocked when Tusith picked her out right away.
