Personality: Edwig is as friendly and cheerful a person as you could hope for. She loves people and enjoys making friends; she has quite a soft spot for children, and likes teaching. Between her outgoing personality and her harper training, it's not much of a surprise that she makes a fine diplomat.
Past: Born the daughter of a steward in a mid-sized Hold, Edwig had a comfortable life with her family, with siblings both older and younger than her. She was a popular girl among the Hold children, and made lots of friends. She knew from a young age that she wanted to be a harper, and apprenticed at only ten years old. She enjoyed the Harperhall, but when searchriders came by, she was too excited to turn down the search. When she eventually Impressed Jesmonth, she decided to further her harper career by becoming a Weyrharper.
