Personality: Thoughtful and bookish, Emilia loves to read and occasionally writes her own stories as well, mostly based on her own rather unusual life. She is kind and personable, making friends easily, and she likes to help others whenever possible. She is definitely extroverted, gets scared when she is by herself, and isn't too fond of the dark, either. Aside from that, she is not very easily scared, and is generally quite calm and even-tempered.
Past: Emilia is from another world with a culture and technology level roughly equal to that of modern-day Pern. She inherited her hawk shapeshifting abilities from her parents, who raised her and her younger brother among their own kind. She particularly enjoyed flying in hawk form, and as she got older, began to travel more and more on her own. She became something of a wanderer, doing whatever needed done to earn her way, and then she met the offworlders--actually, searchriders from a place called Darkling Dawn, who invited her to stand for the clutches.
Eager to see the place, she went with them, but after being left standing for one clutch, she decided the Dragonry was a little too chaotic for her, and Sedona Weyr was suggested as an alternative. That was how she ended up standing for Yuneth's clutch, and near the end of the hatching, when she was afraid she'd be left standing again, Fortainth finally hatched from her shell and Impressed her. The two of them, despite drawing the occasional odd looks, have settled in well to life in the Weyr.
