Personality: Janne is a serious, no-nonsense sort of person. She works hard and expects the same from everyone around her. She is certainly competent, if not particularly intelligent, but she has a god understanding of how people think and can take charge when needed. She enjoys the mining craft, particularly her own skills with gems, but she enjoys baking and cooking as well, and she keeps a small but stable vegetable garden.
Past: Janne was born as the third child to a married couple, but that doesn't stop her from having a slew of half-siblings in addition to her four full-blooded siblings. Even so, neither parent seemed particularly disturbed at their partner's additional children, and Janne had a pretty peaceful home life. Growing up in a family of miners, it was unsurprising that she decided to become one as well, and she walked the tables at seventeen, becoming a journeyman specializing in gem extraction and jewel-making.
She was content to remain so for the next three turns, but eventually she began to become restless. She felt like there was still something missing in her life, but she didn't think it was a husband and children. She had always refused searches in the past, though she had been singled out a few times; the last time searchriders stopped by, however, she agreed to go with them. Perhaps it was a dragon she was missing.

Personality: There are a lot of things Hanabith loves: people, dragons, male dragons, food, late nights, and sleeping in. And Janne, of course, but that goes without saying. Hanabith is a very friendly, outgoing dragon, and she loves to flirt. In fact, she falls in love easily and frequently, whenever she has a mating flight, though her romantic feelings tend not to last very long. While Hanabith wants people to like and admire her, she's not that eager to fly Thread, and only works hard for Janne's sake, and to earn the approval of her wingmates. She is very much a night owl and hates waking up early in the morning.
