Personality: Pessimistic and depressive, she naturally tends to look on the downside of things, though being turned has only made it worse. She is not the type to wallow in her angst too long, however, and she does eventually get over whatever made her upset. She is reclusive and solitary; she finds it difficult to make friends and rarely tries, being introvertive by nature, and she tends to come off as rude when she speaks her mind without thought.
Past: Marie grew up on Earth, raised in a bustling city. She never had any close friends growing up and tended to be teased at school, and she naturally fell in with the goth crowd as she got older. She had just graduated from college with a degree in English and no idea what to do with it, when she was attacked in a dark alley and left for dead. Only after she woke up with a thirst for blood did she realize she'd been attacked by a vampire and turned into one. She spent the next few months learning the extent of her new powers and tracking down the one who turned her, though she never found them, and eventually gave up. Fortunately, she does not burn to ashes in the sun, though she burns very easily, and her eyes are particularly sensitive to bright light. She restricts her blood lust to animals, and blood from hospitals when she can get in them.
