Name: Nandia
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Rank: Ranking Rider
Child/Wingrider
Age: 18 (12 at
Impression)
Build: Very tall and thin
Hair: Bright red, wavy, to shoulders
Skin:
Freckled
Eyes: Amber
Personality: Rather dreamy and easily distracted, Nandia can be difficult
to get along with. She is very nosy and rather confrontational; she tends to
make more enemies than friends. To her superiors such as the Wingleader,
however, she is polite and keeps her tongue in check. She tends to be rather
selfish, thinking of herself first, everyone else last, and has a trace of
arrogance about her. She tends to be nervous around men, not helped at all by
her dragon's frequent rising.
Past: The daughter of the
Weyrwoman, though she and her twin brother were fostered for most of their
lives, she has always been sort of arrogant about her parentage. She was
convinced for quite a while that she was bound to Impress a queen, and was
determined to follow her mother to Sedona and Impress a dragon from Yuneth's
first clutch as senior queen. She was disappointed that there was not a queen
egg, but she eventually decided that a green would be better than waiting
possibly years for a queen egg to show up.
It might have
been her desire for gold and reluctance to Impress that made her less attractive
to the hatchlings than the other girls, but by the end of the Hatching she was
desperate, and only happy and relieved to Impress Nysath.

Personality: Nysath
takes after her rider in a lot of ways. She is rather arrogant and her large
size allows her to push some of the blues around, and at times she even tries to
boss around the bronzes and browns. Rather like young girls who torture the boy
they like, though, most of the blues she pushes around are the ones she likes
best, though they're sometimes scared to chase her. In flight, she is agile but
somewhat careless; she has been scored more than once due to taking stupid risks
when she should have known better.
