Personality: Rynen's a mean, short-tempered boy who's a bit of a bully. He's very insecure and unsure about himself; as a result, he tends to be overly-defensive and prone to picking fights, though hopefully, it's something he'll grow out of. He respects his elders and teachers enough to stay out of trouble, but anyone else needs to prove themselves to him first. He's something of a loner, given his attitude, but any friends he does happen to make will find themselves with a staunch defender, if one with a hair-trigger temper.
Past: Born and raised on the move, Rynen comes from a long line of traders traveling across Pern's Northern Continent. He was born to a married couple, in the middle of five children, and he gets along better with his older brothers than practically anyone else. He has always been a handful to deal with, but since coming to Aneris, he's tried to be on his best behavior. He was ecstatic when he was Searched by riders from Aneris Weyr, and he very much wants to Impress a dragon.
