Personality: Adventurous and outgoing, Saiss has always been an energetic girl who dislikes having to sit still for long periods of time; not the best personality for a healer, granted, but she takes her job seriously and does well enough. She is a friendly person with an excellent bedside manner, and during her off hours, she loves to party, and flirt as well.
Past: Saiss was born to a low-rank drudge in the Healer Hall, and never knew who her father was, though her mother would often say he had been a visiting dragonrider. She made lots of friends among the other children, and once she was old enough, she showed a talent for healing and was made an apprentice at fourteen. She had scarcely started her apprenticeship when the dragons arrived from Sedona Weyr, however. They were looking for candidates for the Weyr's latest clutch, and they picked out Saiss almost immediately. She agreed to stand for the clutch and Impressed her green Yernath, though during and after weyrling training, she continued to study healing in her free time in order to become a Weyrhealer.
