Name: S'wey (Savelwey)
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 25, 17 at
Impression
Build: Large
Skin: Olive
Hair: Brown, frizzy, to
shoulders
Eyes: Deep green
Personality: S'wey is a cheerful, very
balanced sort of guy, who is always calm and even-tempered. He gets along with
pretty much everyone; he does not get offended easily and he can draw the shyest
person out of their shell with enough effort. He is an optomist, though also a
little naive. He doesn't mind hard work, but he also likes his little creature
comforts, so he's perfectly willing to follow orders, work hard, and goof off in
his spare time.
Past: Savelwey was born in a tiny mining Hold, to the handler
of the only wher in the settlement and his wife. The couple did not have any
other children, but Savelwey always got along very well with the other children
in the Hold, not to mention his father's wher. In fact, when his father grew ill
and died, Savelwey managed to convince the aging wher to shift its bond to him
rather than follow his father between. He and his wher worked in the mines for
another two turns before the wher died in a firestone-related accident. Savelwey
was left with only slight burns, but for the time being, the Hold had no wher
and he had no job.
Shortly after he recovered from his injuries, the Hold
was visited for the first time in a long while by searchriders. They told
Savelwey that he was eligible to Impress a dragon, and he readily agreed. He
Impressed his blue nearly a turn later. They stuck around the Weyr for a few
turns but eventually transferred to a Weyr that was more in need of
riders--Sedona Weyr.
