Personality: Solid and dependable, he wants to help others and is the sort that can always be relied upon. He is as comfortable giving orders as he is taking them, and he has a keen head for strategy. He is friendly and outgoing, very tolerant of others.
Past: Thorenstag comes from a reclusive world where griffins are the dominant species. Most of them are capable to some degree of magic, but only very specialized for the most part. Thorenstag is one of the more talented ones, who has some control over the elements of fire, water, and especially air, and like many of his kind, he is also capable of taking on a fully human form or a mix of griffin and human whenever he wants, and in fact spends most of his time as a human. Once he heard of the existance of dragons, he became very interested in them and decided to bond one of his own, whatever it takes. He eventually managed to make his way to the FGPC, hoping to be searched.

Personality: Though Varel is extrovertive and enjoys making conversation, she gets caught up in her research far too easily and loses track of time, and people tend to lose track of her. She's extremely intelligent and curious and spends much of her time studying various subjects, magic and otherwise, with Thorenstag. She can be kind of arrogant and conceited, but she has absolutely no interest in mating or having children, and she doesn't react well to matchmaking attempts.
