Personality: Well-regarded in general, Uegeah nonetheless has a reputation for being a bit strange. Her manners are not the best and she really prefers to be out in the wilderness. She acts rather oddly around other people, but she is never violent or mean-spirited, and she is one of the best weavers around.
Past: Uegeah was born and raised on Pern, her mother a simple Holder. Her father, though a Holder as well ever since she was born, would occasionally talk of his life before, in some other place, though he was never very specific. She also inherited from him her gift of changing into a wolf-like form under a full moon. She had no siblings, and her father died in a hunting accident when she was ten turns old. Though she was friendly enough with other children, she preferred to play on her own, and once she turned twelve, she decided to choose a craft to apprentice under, and went to the Weavercrafthall.
Uegeah quickly displayed a great talent at weaving tapestries and advanced quickly. Shortly after walking the tables at seventeen, she was visited by searchriders from Sedona Weyr and taken to stand for Yuneth's clutch. The local Holders tended to be extremely suspicious of anything considered "odd", but that was alright with Uegeah, who was used to hiding her gift from others.
When the clutch hatched, she ended up Impressing blue Aildearth, something which both surprised and pleased her. The two struggled a bit in weyrling training, with Aildearth unwilling to follow orders, but they eventually graduated and joined a wing, while Uegeah continues to practice her craft in her free time.
