Appearance: V'urn is the very picture of a scattered artist. He always has paint or ink smudges on some part of his clothing or his visible skin, he'll often have to look through his pockets for five minutes before giving you the missive you asked for (if he has it on him at all) and his weyr looks like a combination of a tornado and an explosion went off in short succession. If he is dressed well, it is guaranteed to be Souath's doing.
Personality: Although V'urn is often scatterbrained when it comes to things that other people find important, he has an impeccable memory for art, words and beauty. He can make wonderful compliments without thinking and is a master of high brow vagueries and small-talk. He tends to disappoint those who are interested in pursuing him romantically as he often declares them to be his muse and refuses to tarnish that relationship with "such awkward human behaviour".
Past: Viurn is the oldest son of the Lord Holder of a somewhat small Hold. His mother died in childbirth when he was quite young, along with the baby, and it was a few years before his father remarried. Viurn was slow to warm up to his new stepmother, but she made his father happy and he soon gained a small horde of younger siblings.
He was never interested in the running of the Hold, preferring to dwell on more abstract things and quickly discovering a talent for painting. His father, seeing that he would never be the heir he wanted him to be, agreed to let him apprentice. He only came back once, to join his family in attending a Hatching where his life would be changed forever. Though he had never been searched, a little green hatchling picked him out of the crowd, announcing her name to be Souath. They never really fit in at the Weyr, though, and eventually requested a transfer to Sedona.

She somehow managed to convince Viurn to make her several tasseled and embroidered saddle cloths; she often gets her hide painted as well. She has a generous and loving nature.
