Personality: Z'li, while kind and generous, tends to have a bit of an attitude problem and is rude to people who he should defer to, which often gets him in trouble. He is very hardworking and focused, however, and most people find themselves liking him once they get to know him. He doesn't like the beach and has a strong fear of sea animals--even dolphins give him the shivers.
Past: Z'li's past is strange in that he spent some time in a different era than the one he was born in. His parents are both dragonriders; his father is a high-ranking bronze-rider, his mother a greenrider. He was searched before the hatching where he Impressed White Taeurth. But during the later stages of weyrling training when they were practicing betweening, he messed up and accidentally sent himself and his dragon a couple dozen years into the future. Once they graduated training with a new class, they were able to shift themselves back to their proper time, but it was certainly an experience to remember. And he even picked up a pet while he was there.
