| Dwyth's eggs were finally
ready to hatch. There were not nearly enough candidates for all the eggs, but it
would work out. It always did. One medium-sized egg was rocking back and
forth regularly, almost systematically. Bored. Bored. Bored.
The egg's inhabitant thought to himself, as he idly
tapped his leg against the hard wall repeatedly. Or maybe it was an arm, he
wasn't entirely sure. He seemed to have an awful lot of them now, anyway. A
steady humming sound began outside the egg, and it's inhabitant frantically
tried to break out. Finally! About time I got out of
here. He thought to himself. Now...How do I get
out? His problem was solved as something crashed into
him, cracking open the walls around him. Sorry 'bout that,
mate.Didn't mean to give you such a
knock. He heard someone say as he poked his dark brown head
out of the egg. That's alright. I've kept him waiting long enough,
really. Thanks. Sure thing. But I really do feel badly. Say,
if you ever need anything, look me up.I'm
Queyukyth. I'll be around. The dragon, a scaly copper-green,
said. Arajaxth. He supplied, and heard a gasp
behind him. The brown dragon turned around, and saw a familiar, dark blue
dragon. Ciqantath! He shouted, running to the blue.
You listened! I hoped you
would. How could I not? The blue dragon
said, covering the brown hatchling with his wing. Just don't ever
leave me again. Arajaxth snorted. Of course not! What,
do you think I want to be reincarnated
again?
