Ch'ney! The
sixteen-turn-old turned to look at his blue dragon, now almost four turns
old.
"What is it, Reeth?" He asked.
I think we
should move to another Weyr. The large blue dragon stated.
Ch'ney
cocked an eyebrow, staring at his dragon. "Why now, all of a sudden?" He asked
suspiciously. It wasn't like Reeth to just up and leave, when they'd been at
Blue Sky Weyr for almost eight turns now.
Well,
actually...I want to chase. Ch'ney's dark brown eyes widened. "You
WHAT!?"
I want to chase. Preferably at Tripaldi
Weyr. Reeth stated.
"What? No, Reeth, I don't want-"
Please? Just to see how I'll do?
Ch'ney sighed.
There was no arguing with the blue. "Alright, alright." He groaned. "We'll go to
this Tripoli Weyr."
It's Tripaldi Weyr,
Ch'ney.
"Whatever." Ch'ney answered, rolling his
eyes.
There! There she is, that's the one I want
to chase!
Ch'ney stared at the dragon that had caught the
attention of his blue. A green dragon, sunning herself on a ledge.
See? She's beautiful, isn't she?
"Yeah,
beautiful" Ch'ney muttered.
Why don't you go talk to
her rider? I'm sure you'll like her. I'll stay here and talk with
Mynialeth.
Ch'ney blinked, then realized that Mynialeth must be
the green's name. He sighed, rolling his eyes at his lovesick dragon, and
reluctantly left to find her rider.
